The passing of stallion ACTION BREAKER

It is with great emotion that we learned of the passing of ACTION BREAKER (Heartbreaker x Lys de Darmen), at the age of 26.

An Elite Stallion and a top-level international performer under the saddle of Sergio Alvarez Moya, ACTION BREAKER made his mark on the history of show jumping thanks to his exceptional talent, outstanding jumping technique, power and extraordinary gallop. Among his greatest achievements were a 5th place finish at the Mediterranean Games, earning a team silver medal, a 3rd place in the CSIO5* Grand Prix of Aachen, a 2nd place in the GCT CSI5* Grand Prix of Cannes, his participation in the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, as well as a victory in the CSIO5* Nations Cup of Barcelona.

Beyond his remarkable sporting career, ACTION BREAKER will leave a lasting legacy in worldwide breeding. Regularly ranked among the world’s best show jumping sires in the WBFSH rankings, he is the sire of numerous international performers competing up to 1.60m Grand Prix level, including Ben Maher’s star Point Break, winner of 1.60m Grand Prix classes with more than €1.8 million in prize money, as well as other 1.60m Grand Prix performers such as Just Do It R, H. Big Action, Fixdesign Funke van’t Heike, Acoufina PS, Explosiev, Dobra de Porceyo, NLH Favorite, Quinu de Pravita and Farfelu du Printemps. In France, he was awarded the Elite Stallion label thanks to the outstanding quality of his offspring.

At Haras de Semilly, we had the privilege of offering his breeding services exclusively in France since 2011. We also had the opportunity to use ACTION BREAKER on several of our mares, producing horses including Djeddah Semilly (ISO 150, 1.50m Grand Prix level), Deep Sea Semilly (ISO 145 at 6 years old, multiple winner), Isfandiyar Semilly (ISO 139, placed in Top 7 1.40m Grand Prix classes) and our young stallion Kilimandjaro Semilly, son of ACTION BREAKER.

Our thoughts are with his breeders, his rider Sergio Alvarez Moya, and everyone who knowing and supporting him throughout his career.
