Two DIAMANT DE SEMILLY offspring finish in the Top 8 of the CSI5* GCT/GCL Monte Carlo Grand Prix!
- Dinozo Imperio Egipcio (formerly Dinozo Un Prince) (Diamant x Urbain du Monnai), ridden by Stephan de Freitas Barcha, claimed victory in the CSI5* GCT/GCL Monte Carlo 1.60m Grand Prix after finishing 5th in the 1.60m qualifier.
- Pittman v/h Lilleveld (Diamant x Toulon), partnered by Thibault Philippaerts, secured an excellent 8th place in the Grand Prix.
Other DIAMANT DE SEMILLY offspring also delivered outstanding performances:
- Sonic Jgf (Diamant x Salamon), ridden by Javier Gonzales Fraga, finished 3rd in the CSI3* Sariego 1.50m Grand Prix.
- Darior Von Hary Z (Diamant x Hornet Rose) and Mira Oliva Hoidal placed 5th in a 1.50m class at the CSIO3* Kronenberg.
- Ding Dong van Overis Z (Diamant x Chellano Z), ridden by Bart Lips, finished 8th in a 1.50m class at CSIO3* Kronenberg.
- Gatsby Diamond (Diamant x Oberon du Moulin) and Ricardo Gil Santos won a 1.45m class at the CSI3* Sariego.
Many offspring of our stallions recorded top results this week in international classes ranging from 1.45m to 1.60m.
ROCK’N ROLL SEMILLY, son of DIAMANT
- Quastor vd Heffinck (Rock’n Roll x PKZ Contact van de Heffinck), ridden by Maikel van der Vleuten, finished 7th in a 1.60m class and helped his team secure 2nd place in the Global Champions League (1.55m) at CSI5* GCT/GCL Monte Carlo.
- Gordito de Mainguy (Rock’n Roll x Gold de Becourt) and Bernard Briand Chevalier placed 4th in the Grand National Notre-Dame-d’Estrées Pro Elite 1.50m Grand Prix.
- Chase The Check (Rock’n Roll x Quidam de Revel), ridden by Hunter Holloway, finished 6th in a 1.45m class at the CSI3* Williamsburg.
ANDIAMO SEMILLY, son of DIAMANT
- At only 8 years old, Nike van het Singraven (Andiamo x Haarlem), ridden by Holly Smith, once again impressed by winning a 1.50m class and finishing 3rd in the CSI4* Harthill 1.55m Grand Prix.
- In the amateur ranks, Gotham de la Mare (Andiamo x Ugolin Normand) and Théo Jerusalmi claimed victory in the Grand National Notre-Dame-d’Estrées Amateur Elite Grand Prix.
- The consistently successful Bull Run’s Jireh (Uriko x Colman), partnered by Kristen Vanderveen, finished 3rd in a 1.60m class at the CSI5* GCT/GCL Monte Carlo.
- At the Grand National Notre-Dame-d’Estrées, the piebald stallion Forever Diamond Epona (Action Breaker x Arpège Pierreville), ridden by Mélanie Cloarec, won the Pro Elite 1.50m Grand Prix.
- The ever-consistent Ace of Hearts (Action Breaker x Indorado) and Billy Twomey finished 4th in the CSI4* Harthill 1.55m Grand Prix, following a 2nd-place finish in a 1.50m class.
- His licensed son Stargos VDL (Stakkato Gold x Conthargos), ridden by Hessel Hoekstra, finished 2nd in a 1.50m class at the CSI3* Ommen.
- AGS Casallida (Casall x Calido I), partnered by Cassio Rivetti, finished 8th in the CSI3* Williamsburg 1.50m Grand Prix.
CHILLI WILLI, son of CASALL
- Victory for Queen van Dorperheide (Chilli Willi x Winningmood) and Francisco Goyoaga Mollet in a 1.45m class at the CSI3* Williamsburg.
- Hadj des Fontaines (Captain x Oncle Pol), ridden by Gracie Allen, placed 9th in a 1.45m class at the CSI3* Williamsburg.
- Among the amateurs, Hirondel de Neveztell (Captain x Elan de la Cour) and Lou Aliamus once again earned a placing in the Amateur Elite division, finishing 7th in the Grand National Notre-Dame-d’Estrées Grand Prix.
OUR STALLIONS IN ACTION
1.45m placings for full brothers GROOVY & FIFTY FIFTY SEMILLY (Diamant de Semilly x Heartbreaker)
Making his debut with his new rider, Japanese Olympian Eiken Sato, FIFTY FIFTY SEMILLY finished 4th in a 1.45m class at the CSI3* Sariego.
His full brother, GROOVY SEMILLY, made a successful return to competition with Clément Fortin, taking 3rd place in the selective 1.45m Grand Prix at the Grand National Notre-Dame-d’Estrées.
THE COMPETITION STABLE
Strong results for our competition horses at the Grand National of Notre-Dame-d’Estrées!
Our competition stable enjoyed another successful weekend at the Grand National of Notre-Dame-d’Estrées, with numerous top placings.
Making his return to competition, Genesis Semilly (Diamant de Semilly x Quidam de Revel), ridden by Dylan Levallois, finished 2nd in the 1.40m Grand Prix.
In the 7-year-old division, Jacaranda Semilly (Kannan x Diamant de Semilly), the maternal sister of our stallion Karaganda Semilly, and Johnny Semilly (Ekano DKS*Semilly x Le Tot de Semilly), the 2025 French Champion of the 6-year-old males, placed 6th and 7th respectively in the Top 7 1.40m Grand Prix. The day before, Jacaranda Semilly had already finished 3rd in the 1.35m Grand Prix, where Johnny Semilly also earned a placing.
Jour J Semilly (Diamant de Semilly x Baloubet du Rouet), the maternal brother of our stallion Kilimandjaro Semilly, finished 6th in the 7-year-old 1.35m Grand Prix.
In Friday’s 1.35m Grand Prix, Clément Fortin claimed both 1st and 2nd place aboard Islander Semilly (Stakkato Gold x Winningmood) and Galway Semilly (Diamant de Semilly x Quaprice BM).
