« Zilverstar is a son of the famous Holsteiner Sire, Berlin, with a dam and a grand-dam both CSI winners. He made a strong impression during the 6YO World Championships in Lanaken. His great bloodline and potential make him an up and coming sire ! »

BERLIN, his sire :

He comes from the great Cassini I and from a dameline of international showjumpers. His dam, Estia, jumped under the name of Cathleen X with Marc Wirths and his 2nd dam : Ostia, worldly reknown under the name of Frimella, did many finales with A.Polmann-Schweckhorst and then with W. Melliger. She also produced, Lorina II, CSI winner.

Berlin is himself a great international winner. We'll remind his titles of champion de Hollande, Team World Champion 2006 et 6ème en individuel and Team European Champion 2007 sous la selle des frères Schroeder. Ses premiers produits commencent à poindre en CSI tels Zalerno, Zerlin M, …

TRIEST STAR, his 1st dam, very good international winner with the irish rider Declan McEvoy.

OBSESSION, his 2nd dam, good international winner with the finish rider Julia Jylas.

KIVOLDA, his 3rd dam, is a filly of the wellknown Burggraaf, sire of numerous international winners like the stallions Peppermill, Luccianno, Manhattan, Nirvana V, Budweiser, Graaf and the performers Obelix (Hervé Godignon), Randgraaf (Philippe Rozier), Now or Never...

From the dameline also come from the international showjumpers J.F., Talco, Torca, Quina, Ovoldus, Rivolda and the stallions Uppercut DS very good CSI winner with Emanuele Gaudiano, Simsalabin Van Berkenbroeck, etc.

With his young rider Olivier Philippaerts, Zilverstar is placed in several international classes for 6YO horses in 2010 : 1st and 4th in Arezzo CSI3*, 10th in Beervelde CSI***, etc. He finishes 5th of the 6YO World Championships in Lanaken with a remarqued triple clear-round. It's worth to keep an eye on this young stallion in the future years !

In 2011, Zilverstar T wins the 7 YO Grand Prix at Offenbourg CSI**.

He began breeding in France in 2011.
He began breeding in Belgium in 2008 and he didn't cover in 2009 because he went to Netherlands for his sport career. In 2010, Ludo Philippaerts entrusted him some fifteen mares.

Coming from great pedigree (Berlin x Cavalier x Quick Star x Burggraaf), Zilverstar is a very well balanced stallion, with an excellent back and showing a lot of strength. We recommend to cross him with expressive mares which have enough blood. He should give to his offspring his power and a strong back.

You can bring your mare to France for being inseminated in order to have a SF foal. The mares are inseminated with frozen semen. The stud fee is guaranted live foal :

2013 conditions : 1500 euros at reservation

Towards foreign countries, we can send you the semen directly or through our brokers if there is one who works for us in your country. For all information, feel free to contact us by email : contact@semilly.com
